Yeah, you will need to register your account in order to in the Xunlai Tournament. Its no biggy. All you do is select a name for your account based off one of your character names. This makes more sense if you ever do the 1v1 tournaments. You can do this by talking to the NPC you mentioned. Once you register your account, you just go to the website I pasted above and sign up. Then you place your monthly predictions (through the website). Unfortunately you just missed the June predictions, so you'll have to wait until July 25th to place the next ones.

I was reading a little about the Xunlai Tournament today but I wasn't sure how it worked. I clicked the NPC and he was asking me to register only a specific character. I want the keys for my monk, but I've only been pretend-PvP-ing with the ranger so I opted to not register anyone until I learn what the hell it's all about.

If you want to get Zaishen keys easily without grinding too much PvP, I recommend using the Xunlai Tournament House. It's only active once a month, but all you have to do it predict the winners of the GvG and 1v1 monthly tournaments and you can win up to 500 keys.

It costs nothing to enter, so you have nothing to lose. I usually get between 20 and 50 keys a month from doing it. All I do is look at the previous monthly winners and shuffle them around a bit as my next predictions.

The other option is to do treasure running:

You usually make enough money from the treasure runs to buy 10 or so Zaishen keys.

I actually don't know if RoD was useful or not. Quite frankly, with only Mending as my "keep my 55 alive" skill, I was pretty busy keeping myself healed and energy management was a struggle so I only got to fire off RoD a handful of times. I was too busy to actually see how much damage it was doing, so I probably would have been better off with one extra 55 enchantment to recover energy. I'd have to read up on the skill though, it might be one of those that triggers before your other enchants, meaning it would reverse the full damage prior to the damage being converted to 5.

Crown? I didn't know about a crown, but I suppose I'll have to do that now too...

Totally cheating, but I since I do have a PvP Ranger, I loaded up PvX's trapper + nuker team with my Ele heroes and maxed out my Balth (I had nearly 6k already) and bought 2 Zaishen keys. So... it's not real PvP at all but my primary motivation is the Zaishen emotes anyway!

Nice work, I never thought about using Necrosis. That's genius. Did u find Reversal of Damage to be useful? I would have expected it to be useless on a 55 monk, as the most damage you could reverse is 5?

Are you going to bother with getting a Crown? Odds are that you will face Zho in the five more wins required to get a Crown.
