Finally! I’ve been chasing the Raiment of the Seven Stars armour set for months now, running the various Annuminas instances for the armour fragments and boss gems to barter, as well as reputation. It’s been nearly impossible to find a group for Haudh Valandil and the only time I went I lost the roll for the gem. Last week, Arwellyn received her 5th piece. Just the shoulders and robe to go. Last night my kinship did a Glinghant run just to get the gem for the shoulders, and this morning she finally earned her 16th Mark of Triumph from repeating certain Epic Book instances and bartered it for a Writ of Annuminas and got the robe! Her first full end-game set! *happy dance*

Gz Scott. Thats a nice armour set. I get the impression that complete Annuminas sets are rarer than Rift sets – not easy to come by at all.
Grats yeah, I only have a few pieces of the Rift set. I really think the Annuminas set is harder because of the difficulty in finding groups for it. Way to go.
It’s not too bad since you can barter 16 Marks of Triumph for a Writ for an armour piece. Still… that’s 16 Book instances each with a 5-day cooldown, so it still takes awhile. My server constantly has “LFF Annuminas” but ask them “which one?” and they’re usually like “uh…” and it ends up being Glinghant. I like Glinghant and all, but that Nengon fight is a bitch. Ost Elendil is kinda easy to get groups for, but not always groups who know how to (or will learn while you’re there) do the fights, especially in the final room. The one time my kinship did Haudh Valandil, it was fun but a little slow and long, very easy which is misleading because once it’s time for the boss fight, holy crap! I missed the roll for the gem by 1 too!
Anyway, it’s done. We’re still Rifting twice a week so I’ll get that soon enough. The beta guys say the Rift set is good until level 56-58 and the Rift will be great XP along the way as well. Too bad the Rift set doesn’t look as nice…
